Search for “Smart Life” in the mobile app store and install the App. After installation, follow the App instructions to log in or create an account.

This product is a Zigbee device and cannot be added directly through phone Bluetooth. Before adding it, make sure:
• A usable Tuya Zigbee gateway has been prepared and added;
• The Zigbee gateway has been connected to the Smart Life App;
• The gateway is online;
• The device is close to the gateway during first network joining.
Press and hold the button near the indicator light for about 5 seconds until the blue light starts flashing. A flashing blue light means the device is in addable mode.
1. Open the Smart Life App and enter the page of the added Zigbee gateway.
2. On the gateway page, tap “Add Sub-device” or “Add Device”.
3. Confirm that the Roller Blind Robot blue light is flashing.
4. Follow the App instructions to search for and add the device.
5. After successful adding, enter the device panel and complete motion calibration.

Before installation, confirm the following conditions:
• The roller blind uses a bead-chain structure;
• This product does not support cord-type roller blinds;
• The bead chain moves smoothly, with no obvious jamming, tangling, or loosening;
• The installation surface is clean, flat, and free of dust;
• The product drive wheel can connect tightly with the bead chain to avoid slipping during operation;
• There are no obstacles in the roller blind movement path.
1. Unbox and check whether the main unit, screws, foam pads, and other accessories are complete.
2. Clean the installation position and make sure the surface is clean and dust-free.
3. Connect the product drive wheel with the bead chain and confirm the connection is tight.
4. Use the included screws or fixing accessories to securely install the main unit in the selected position.
5. After installation, enter the device panel in the Smart Life App and perform motion calibration.

After first installation or reinstallation, complete motion calibration before use. Before calibration, percentage position and schedule control may be inaccurate.
1. Enter the device panel and tap “Motion Calibration”.
2. Follow the page prompt to pull the roller blind to a half-open position, then tap “Next”.
3. Tap the “Open Button” on the page to test the direction.
4. After confirming the rotation direction, tap “Next”.
5. Tap the “Open Button”. When the roller blind is fully opened, tap the “End Button” to record the start position.
6. Tap the “Start Button”. When the roller blind is fully closed, tap the “End Button” to record the end position.
7. After calibration is complete, you can use open, close, percentage control, and schedule functions normally.

If calibration fails or the running position is inaccurate, check:
• Whether the roller blind is blocked by foreign objects;
• Whether the bead chain is slipping, loose, or tangled;
• Whether the device is installed securely;
• Whether the roller blind moves smoothly.
• After troubleshooting, perform motion calibration again.
Note: Note: After installation and calibration are complete, do not manually pull the roller blind or bead chain, so as not to affect travel position and calibration results.
After entering the device panel, you can use the following controls:
Open: The roller blind moves in the opening direction
Stop: The roller blind stops the current action
Close: The roller blind moves in the closing direction
Percentage adjustment: Adjust the roller blind to a specified percentage position
Open/close direction: Set the closing direction according to the installation orientation
Schedule: Set up to 4 weekly repeat tasks
Battery level: View the current battery level
Charging status: View not charging, charging, and fully charged status

This manual temporarily uses the following logic: 0% means fully open, and 100% means fully closed. If the final App panel displays the logic differently, follow the actual panel.
Click the open button: Open; click during operation to stop
Click the close button: Close; click during operation to stop
Press and hold the button near the indicator light for about 5 seconds: Restore factory settings / re-enter addable mode
After calibration is complete, you can create scenes or automation in the Smart Life App, such as:
• Open or close the roller blind at a fixed time every day;
• Execute “fully open roller blind” or “fully close roller blind” with one tap;
• Use the Tuya Zigbee gateway for remote scene control.
This product is a Zigbee device and must connect to the Smart Life App through a Tuya Zigbee gateway. After the gateway is online, the device can support:
• Viewing and controlling the device remotely through the Smart Life App;
• Creating more stable scenes and automation;
• Voice control after associating supported voice services in the App settings.
