Linkoze Hub IRF utilizes infrared and radio frequency technology, to simulate the signal from your traditional infared or radio frequency remotes, and eventually realize smart control over your traditional devices. It can realize APP control, remote control, and timer/schedule function for non-smart electrical appliances. The universal remote can become part of a smart scene through cloud services, providing home automation solutions.
You can search "Smart Life" in the mobile application store to install the App
Long press the reset button for 10 seconds and release. The device is ready to be paired when the blue LED flashes.
Open the app and choose your existing hub, enter the Search device page and add your device.
Select the type of device you want to control. When the universal remote is learning signal, the blue indicator light will go out temporarily, and it will light up again if the learning is successful or overtime, and the APP will send you a notification.
The blue indicator light will flash once if the universal remote successfully sends a command after learning.
It's necessary to ensure the remote is in an ideal network environment. Long press the device in App to access the modification panel.
Please note:
1. If the Wi-Fi password has changed, please reset the device and reconnect.
2. When using infrared control, the distance from the universal remote to the controlled device should not exceed 8 meters/ 26 feet. If the distance is too far, the signal will weaken, and it may fail to send the command.
The automation function is available in the App to connect different devices. Each automation contains a series of trigger conditions and target actions. The target actions will be automatically triggered when the conditions are met.
To set up an automation, click the “+” button in the upper right corner of the automation page. For instance, you can use the contact sensor as a trigger condition and create target actions with other Linkoze devices.
